What are alternatives to cokes and pepsis?

CHEAP ALTERNATIVE TO PEPSI MAX

There are many drink options available that are pepsi alternatives  and pepsi max alternative.

Alternatives to coke and pepsi can be soda alternatives as well as non-soda alternatives.

Some drinks or fizzy drinks will also offer vitamins and minerals, making them fairly healthy choices. You can find something as simple as sparkling water or could spruce things up with some low-calorie fruit juices or vitamin water.

So what are cheap alternatives to Pepis, including Pepsi Max?   See my favorite options below.

Alternative to coke and pepsi

Non-Sodas

You have a lot of options here. Iced Teas, lemonades, juices, and some sports drinks like Gatorade and Diet Pepsi are all non-soda sugar-free soft drink alternatives to Pepsi.

Iced Teas

There are a variety of iced tea options that are sugar-free. Iced tea is a good option because it’s also something you can make at home.

Brew some tea bags, and add some lemon, and a no-calorie sweetener like Splenda, pour it over ice, and you’re all set.

Here are some options for sugar-free iced teas you can buy.

Diet Snapple

This is a sugar-free iced tea (my favorite drink) that you can get in a variety of flavors from regular lemon to cranberry-raspberry. All Snapple products are made from natural ingredients, and as a bonus, with the “Real Fact” that comes on every Snapple lid, you’ll even learn some trivia while enjoying your tea.

Diet Arizona Tea

Arizona makes many flavors of its zero-calorie Arizona teas. Some of the flavors you can get with no sugar include peach iced tea, mucho mango, peach green tea, and lemon tea.

Arizona also offers a zero-calorie green tea that includes Ginseng.

Ginseng has a lot of benefits like boosting the immune system and providing antioxidants that might reduce inflammation.

Gold Peak Tea

Gold Peak Tea is freshly brewed with real tea leaves and pure water. They have a diet-carbonated drink version that is sugar-free and has no calories. With Gold Peak Tea, you can trust that you are getting quality ingredients. This is the cheaper alternative as well as a healthy alternative to sugary drinks.

Lemonades

Like iced tea and regular soda, you and diet soda drinkers also have a lot of sugar-free lemonade options.

And, like iced tea, you can also make lemonade at home.

Squeeze some fresh lemons into a pitcher of water or regular soda, and add the no-calorie sweetener of your choice, and you’ve got yourself sugar-free lemonade. Here are some options that you can purchase.

Crystal Light Lemonade

Crystal Light makes a lot of sugar-free options. They all are good  and cheap alternative to pepsi. For example, lemonade is sugar-free.

Just mix the powder in a pitcher of water, and you have sugar-free lemonade ready to serve.

Crystal Light is also available in other flavors like fruit punch, and all Crystal Light is calorie-free.

Tropicana Lemonade

Tropicana makes a sugar-free lemonade that is available for purchase in 2-Liter bottles. It does have small amounts of Vitamin C in each serving, making it a somewhat flat water healthier alternative than Pepsi.

Minute Maid Light Lemonade

Minute Maid has a light version of their lemonade, with only 5 calories per serving.

You can also get Minute Maid in different flavors like Watermelon Blueberry and Fruit Punch.

You can get up to 80% of your recommended daily intake of Vitamin C in just one serving of these drinks, making this a great source of Vitamin C.

Juices

While some juices certainly can have a lot of sugar, and calories, some options are sugar-free. Juices have the benefit of usually having vitamins and other nutrients in them that make them healthy options, at least healthier than soda. So a better pepsi substitute.

Ocean Spray Diet Cranberry juice

Not only does Ocean Spray offer a sugar-free cranberry juice, but they also have it in many flavors. You can get regular cranberry juice, as well as cranberry grape juice, cranberry black cherry juice, etc.

You also can find similar tasting cranberry juice in-store brands.

For example, Walmart makes a “Great Value” version of cranberry juice that is similar in taste to Ocean Spray but costs less.

Diet V8 Splash Berry Blend

V8 has an option in the sugar-free market as well. Drinking this juice will allow you to still consume the vitamins and nutrients in the juice, without consuming the added sugar that comes in many fruit juices.

Sports Drinks

Sports drinks now have calorie-free options. Sports drinks or regular soda are good to replenish electrolytes, potassium, and sodium after hard workouts in which you might sweat out a lot of those nutrients.

Historically, these sports drinks also had a log of sugar in them, but now most brands have zero-calorie options on the menu as well.

Gatorade Zero

Gatorade zero offers all the benefits of Gatorade without calories. If you’re still looking to replenish electrolytes after a hard workout, but keep the sugar out, Gatorade Zero is a good option, and it’s also available in a variety of flavors.

Powerade Zero

Like Gatorade, Powerade(diet drink) now has a sugar-free option. You can get all the benefits of a sports drink without sugar.

You can get this tasty beverage in flavors like fruit punch, mixed berry, orange, grape, strawberry, and white cherry.

Vitamin Water Zero

This can be a great option, especially now that it’s available sugar-free. Depending on which vitamin water flavor you select, you will be getting lots of different vitamins in your drink, all with no added sugar.

Sugar-free Sodas

There are sugar-free soda alternatives to Pepsi. If you’re looking to stick with soda but to stay away from Pepsi, you have some different options.

Almost all brands have a diet version made from no sugar like Diet Pepsi, but some brands offer better testing options.

Coca-Cola products

coca cola products

Coca-Cola (a sugary drinks company) offers several sugar-free options. They used to only offer Diet Coke(sugar-free cola or diet cola), but now they have some additional products that might taste better than the original Diet Coke.

Coke Zero

Coke Zero is cola with zero calories. If you are looking for the taste of cola without sugar, this is the choice to make. Coke Zero tastes more like regular Coke than Diet Coke does, as Diet Coke or diet cola can leave you with a bit of an aftertaste.

Sprite Zero

Similar to Coke, this is the sugar-free version of Sprite. If you are looking for a lemon-lime soda with no sugar, Sprite Zero is a good choice. Sprite Zero tastes very similar to regular Sprite, it just doesn’t have any sugar in it. You can also find similar-tasting lemon-lime no-calorie sodas in some other brands.

Grocery store brands

Grocery store brands

Almost all grocery stores make their own brands of soda. Usually, they have sugar-free options in their selection. Each store will have different products, but here are a few examples.

Grocery store brands also have the added benefit of typically costing less than name-brand products, oftentimes with no difference in taste or quality.

Wegmans

Wegmans has its own brand of soda, and they have a few unique sugar-free options like its version of Diet Ginger Ale and Diet Root Beer.

Walmart brands

Walmart’s Store brand is marked “Great Value,” and you can find sugar-free options like Diet Dr. Thunder, which is similar to Dr. Pepper, and Diet caffeine free Orange soda.

Walmart brand soda is also typically some of the cheapest sugary soda or carbonated drinks on the market.

Publix brands

Publix versions of sodas are nice because their no-sugar options are all made without aspartame. Sometimes, aspartame can leave an aftertaste in your mouth.

You don’t have to worry about that with Publix brand sodas.

Their diet sodas, like cola, orange, and ginger ale, are all made with Splenda, not aspartame.

Sparkling Waters

sparkling orange water drink

Sparkling water is a great option if you are looking for something bubbly and flavorful to sip on while avoiding the calories and sugars that come with a lot of soft drinks.

If you’re at a party where friends are drinking alcohol, drinking some fizzy water can be a great way to drink something fun like flat water without the calories or side effects of alcohol

San Pellegrino

One of the first brands to offer sparkling water, San Pellegrino has a variety of flavors to choose from, and you really feel like you are drinking some Coca-Cola Zero and exotic!

You can choose this diet drink from tastes including lemon, cherry, pomegranate, clementine and peach, tangerine and wild strawberry, etc.

La Croix

La Croix became popular with the rise in diets and lifestyle changes like Whole30 that mandate you don’t consume anything with added sugars or sweeteners. La Croix is fun sparkling water that tastes good without having any added sweeteners.

Try flavors like: peach/pear, coconut, tangerine, apricot, passionfruit, orange, mango, etc.

Perrier

Perrier was probably the original sparkling water.

This brand has been around since 1863 and was originally created to be an option during a fancy dinner when you didn’t want to drink alcohol.

You can drink Perrier plain as a pepsi alternative and it essentially just sparkling, bubbly water(carbonated water).

Or, if you want flavor in your drink, you can now buy Perrier in flavors like grapefruit or lemon.

If you’re looking to kick your Pepsi habit, you have several cheap pepsi options available to you.

Whether you’re looking to substitute it with a sugar-free soda like Diet Pepsi, or you want to try to get a bit healthier with something like sparkling water and carbonated water, there are certainly a lot of alternatives for you to choose from.
